Three teacher-clowns - a science teacher, a PE teacher and an English teacher - find themselves locked in the school hall of Athens Academy with their class: the audience, and they can’t figure out why. As they attempt an escape to catch the waiting coach due to take them on their summer school trip, they find themselves playing games, battling invisible monsters and stumbling headlong into A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The forest bursts through the walls, transforming the school hall into an immersive woodland of shifting rainbows, scents, forest textures and spatial sound - the most impossible, most beautiful thing any of them have ever seen.
Rooted in The Blanket Fort Club’s commitment to radically inclusive storytelling, the piece blends clowning, sensory theatre and emerging accessible technology. Haptics, 360° spatial audio and subtle projection deepen emotional engagement-tools that support access, especially for young people with PMLD and complex needs.

Charlie Lim
Charlie Limm is an Actor, Musician and Facilitator originally from Somerset but now based in Leeds. She specialises in creative devising and imaginative play and has worked in theatre in many guises for the last 15 years. Her recent credits include 'Ally and the Soundwaves; Sensory Experience' at The Royal Albert Hall, Elf Dorrit in Fidget Theatre's 'Elves and the Storyteller', 'Penelope R&D' at Leeds Playhouse and 'The Littliest Yak' with LAS Theatre. She is also a recording folk musician and has self-released two EP's that were featured on BBC Radio Bristol; Charlie is currently composing and recording some new music for release this year!
Jared More
red trained at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle, and spent five years on staff at Riding Lights Theatre Company as an actor and artistic associate before going freelance. He especially loves working on family shoes and working with SEND audiences and communities. He is based in Manchester.
Credits include Last Unicorn Airways (2026) for Blanket Fort Club as well as The Selfish Giant (Riding Lights, 2019 & 2026), My Place (Riding Lights, 2022), Pericles (Riding Lights film, 2021), The Polar Express (Wise Owl, 2024), The Three Little Pigs (Wise Owl, 2025).
Isabella Hart
Isabella is a native Sheffield actor, of British and North East Indian heritage. She trained at the National Youth Theatre and ALRA.
She is a disabled performer and works alongside DANC/Triple C to advocate for disability inclusion within the Arts. Recent credits include ; ‘Disability in the City’ (DYSPLA), ‘The 39 Steps’ (West End), ‘Dynamic Flights’ (Maya Productions) and ‘A Day at the Beach’ (One Woman show, Chats Palace).
When she’s not clowning around on stage, Isabella can be found chasing after her lurcher, Murphy, or listening to a paranormal podcast!
This is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for these students. There is enough of the original dialogue to keep the authenticity, but also an abundance of interaction to create a stimulating first experience.

When a shard of mirror lodges in Kai's eye and the Snow Queen carries him away to her beautiful, frozen palace, Gerda doesn't wait long. She cries exactly as long as she needs to, and then she puts her boots on.
