Copy of Last Unicorn Airways front cove

A family friendly tour de force of two itinerant baggage handlers conjuring up sights & stories of a round the world trip on board The Last Unicorn Airways- culminating in a sensory immersive tunnel installation filled with glittering memorabilia.

Last Unicorn Airways playfully blends the celebrated fairytale classic, The Flying Trunk, into an accessible immersive eco theatre experience, reflecting on the Coronavirus pandemic, climate change and our potential for systemic cultural rewiring. It reminds us to view everyday life as an adventure and to never take our world,                or each other, for granted. It's aimed at children and families, with elements for all ages.

THE QUEST FOR STARRY NIGHT FLURRY

Flyer image transparent png.png

The Starry Night Flurry, a once in a lifetime celestial event, is about to take place and our treasured Blanket Fort Club members are invited to join Snow, Ice and Wind for the celebrations.

A sensory immersive theatre adventure designed for 5 - 10 year olds and  all children 5+ who would encounter barriers to access in traditional theatre experiences. This includes children with complex needs and disabilities and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

Ideal for a school group or an experience shared with parents, carers and friends.

But with Snow and Ice falling out and Wind blowing in a strange change, will we be able to get to the observatory in time? An unforgettable adventure exploring infinite love, resilience and the joy in a moment shared.

Take a look at what our audiences thought!

WHAT IS THE QUEST FOR STARRY NIGHT FLURRY?

THE RAINY DAY PARADE (Video).gif

What can we do now we're stuck inside?

What can we do if we're blue?

Build marshmallow castles?

Or supersonic parcels?

Will things change now between me and you?

Marshmallow Castles and Supersonic Parcels is an interactive, in-character storytelling workshop where Snow and Ice, two imaginative characters stuck indoors on a rainy day with their friends, argue over what to create. In the end, they decide to build a blanket fort spaceship and embark on an adventure to an undiscovered planet. As the story unfolds, participants work together to construct the blanket fort, which becomes their vessel to launch into space.
